Working with the WMS Time Parameter

The WMS time parameter lets you track the changes to a phenomenon in time and space.

  1. To connect a WMS service with a time parameter, use the same workflow as for the regular WMS service. See Adding New Data Sources.
  2. To display data from different time periods served by the WMS service with a time parameter, connect to the service and click Global time parameter on the Time toolbar.
  3. To change the time period for which data should be presented, use the slider on the toolbar or the calendar.
